What does Quiza mean?
Quiza is in fact a Spanish word that simply means
maybe or
perhaps. Mystery solved!
How is it pronounced? Not quiz-a or keys-a, but key-sa, so be warned,
get it wrong and we'll not speak to you!!
What is included in the price?
Our prices are quoted in GB Pounds and are per item, unless stated
otherwise. They include tax but exclude postage.
You may show the prices in another currency, but these are guideline
prices based on a currency conversion rate that we adjust on a
weekend. If you pay by card, the card company will convert the GB
Pounds value to your local currency for you, making a card payment
the easiest method for customers outside of the UK.
What happens after I make an order?
Once you see our 'Thank You' screen you know that a copy of the
order has been sent to us for processing, and a copy to you as an
acknowledgement.
We will check our stocks as soon as we can to ensure
that all your items are available. If there is a problem or a query,
we will email you to advise you. For this reason, it is
important that you check your email to see if we have tried to get
in touch, so please ensure that you provide a valid email address
that you do check.
You are advised to review the acknowledgement to make sure that
there are no mistakes and to let us know as soon as you can should
you discover a problem. The acknowledgement will also contain
instructions should you have opted to pay by other than debit/credit
card.
Where is my order acknowledgement?
If you have received the 'Thank You' page but do not receive
the order acknowledgement within a few minutes, please email us from
your computer to let us know. Do not use the secure message facility
for this, as a common cause of not receiving an acknowledgement
is that the email address has been wrongly entered. We check to ensure
that the email address you enter is properly formatted, but we cannot
check whether it is valid. We will re-send the acknowledgement to
the email address that you use when you contact us.
Is the site secure?
256 bit encryption is used when you are entering personal
or financial data on our web site, or when using our secure message
facility. When entering such details, you should see a locked padlock
symbol. More recent browsers show this in the address bar,
the area where you enter web page addresses, and they use a yellow
background for the address bar too. Notice also that the page address
should begin with https, rather than just http. The s suffix implies
secure.
In older browsers, the padlock symbol will appear on the status line,
in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser window.
Note. The status line will not show if you have disabled it under
View->Status Bar or View->Toolbars.
Double click the padlock to view the detail of the
security certificate, if you wish.
Why can't I access secure pages?
To access secure pages you need to have SSL enabled. Check your
browser's security settings and ensure that the SSL options are
checked.
Please check whether you can access other secure sites.
Can you successfully access
this test page?
If you can, please contact us by email and we will try to help.
How much will postage cost?
The weight of the parcel is the main factor. The other factors are the
delivery address, the value of the order and the carrier. We have 3
main delivery areas: the UK, Europe excluding the UK, the Rest of the
World, excluding Europe. Within the UK, our carrier charges differing
amounts that are postcode dependent.
So, if you choose what you'd like and then tell us where in the world
you want the order sending to, we can then show the carriage charge
for the various methods available and you can make your choice
depending on the urgency attached to your order.
Can I organise my own carriage?
Yes. You can either call in at our shop, see the Contact Details
for our address and location map.
Alternatively, if you'd like to use your own, or your company's
carrier account, simply choose the
Collect option.
Please tell us when you'd like the collection to take place, use
the delivery instructions for this, if you wish, and we will confirm
that we can have your parcel ready. Do not organise your carrier
until we have agreed the collection date.
When will I receive my order?
In what follows, Sundays and public holidays are always excluded.
We try to send orders out the same day, if we can, the next day
otherwise. The courier only collects and delivers on weekdays.
We will advise you once your order has been despatched, meaning it is
no longer in our possession, but has been handed in at the post office
or has been collected by the courier.
Once you have been advised that your order has been despatched:
Deliveries to the UK.
The courier will attempt to deliver on the next weekday.
First class and recorded mail should arrive the next day,
but this is not guaranteed. Standard parcels take 2-3 days.
Special Delivery is guaranteed by 1pm the next weekday;
for a guaranteed Saturday delivery you must use the Special Delivery
Saturday Service. Deliveries outside the UK.
These are handled by the Royal Mail and are passed on to the local
mail delivery service in the destination country. Deliveries to Europe
should take between 2 and 4 working days; deliveries outside Europe
should take between 4 and 6 days. The actual time will depend on the
local mail service provider and where the delivery address is in
relation to the nearest large town.
Do you accept other currencies?
No, as this results in charges and delays. Paying by credit card
bypasses this, as the credit card company will convert between your
local currency and GB Pounds.
For a small fee, your bank should organise a transfer in GB Pounds
from your account to ours.
Can I pay by card but not over the internet?
Our web site is secure, but always check for the locked padlock
symbol when entering card or personal details. See 'Is our site
secure?' for more on this.
If, however, you want to pay by card, but not via the internet, we
suggest that you raise your order as normal, but at the checkout
choose 'Pay By Other' and put a message in the 'Delivery Instructions'
to ask to us call for card details. An alternative to us calling
would be for you to use the secure message facility on the web site
to send your card details to us in an encrypted format that only we
hold the key to on a private server.
